In this short tutorial, I’ll show you

  1. How to open a technical chart
  2. How to shift the position and size of the chart
  3. How to create trend lines, channels and support /resistance levels easily.

So let’s get started!

When you log in the app for the first time, you will see a blank canvas because you have not open any charts yet.

To open your first chart, simply click on the search icon, key in either the name of the financial instrument or its official exchange symbol and select it.

Once the chart is loaded, you can easily move it in any direction. You can also zoom in and out of the chart easily using your mouse scroll. For a more precise zoom-in, you can hold your right mouse click and highlight a specific area of the chart.

By default, you are in a trend line drawing mode. To create a trend line, just click on a starting point followed by an ending point.

If you wish to create a parallel channel from this trend line, simply click on the trend line, select the channel icon and then move the channel line to your preferred location.

A projection line can be easily created as well.

Finally, let’s try creating your first horizontal support and resistance lines. A really quick way to do this is to move your mouse cursor over to the price axis and click on it. You can create as many horizontal lines as you desire.

That’s it! I hope this really short tutorial can help you get started quickly. I’ll share with you more tips and tricks in future tutorial videos, so keep a lookout for them!

Meanwhile, good luck in your trading!
